Please note:
During times of high student traffic, students may be stopped from entering the office before the posted closing hours. This is to allow for all students already waiting on line to be seen by the posted closing time.
The “Counter Area” (room D-B112) is used to speak to a Financial Aid counselor, check the status of Financial Aid applications and hand in requested documentation for Financial Aid purposes.
The “Microlab” (room D-B102) is used only for assistance with filling out or making corrections to your online Financial Aid applications.
When Visiting the Microlab:
- Please have all the necessary documentation and information needed to apply for Financial Aid.
- A checklist of items needed to apply is available at the Microlab and on the Financial Aid website in the “Apply for Aid” section.
Filling for Financial Aid:
- To complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) application, you are required to provide information such as, legal name, social security number, date of birth, address, etc., and your financial situation.
- Before submitting your FAFSA and TAP, you can save it and ask for a staff member to review it.
- Remember to save your passwords, Save Key (4-digit pin), and FSA ID in order to continue where you left off.
