What is Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)?

Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) is defined as the successful completion of coursework toward an eligible degree. Federal regulations require that schools monitor the academic progress of each applicant for federal financial aid. The college must certify that the student is making satisfactory academic progress toward earning their degree. This determination and evaluation of a student’s progress must be made at least once a year.


**SAP appeals are review is ongoing. If you have pre-registered for the Spring 2023 semester and your appeal is not received, your classes will be dropped. Your Academic Dismissal status needs to be resolved regardless oif you opt to pay for your classes out of pocket. Act Promptly!**
