Career Training and Certificate Programs

Career Training and Certificate Programs

Our core mission is training workers in skills that employers need. We continually adapt our training programs to changes in the job market and we help organizations and individuals respond to new technologies, regulatory requirements, and changing practices and skill requirements within specific industries. Obtaining a certificate may lead to a higher paying job. Hostos Community College offers certificate programs in many critical fields of study. Individual courses may be selected by students not planning to complete a certificate program. There are three easy steps to earning a certificate:

  1. Satisfy any necessary prerequisites (i.e. GED®)
  2. Complete the registration process; and
  3. Successfully meet all of the program requirements.

These are some of the certificate programs we offer.
