Interim President Daisy Cocco De Filippis will recognize former SGA President Muiz Agbaje (2019-2020) and SGA Secretary and Senator Isabel Neira Sánchez for their exemplary student service during their time at Hostos.
Both distinguished themselves in their responses to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic; Isabel volunteered at Lincoln Hospital and Muiz worked to provide fellow students with tuition assistance and help fight food insecurity.

Isabel credits Assistant Dean of Student Life Johanna Gómez, Development Officer Idelsa Méndez, and Interim President Cocco De Filippis for inspiring her to continue her education.

“I am very proud to be a Hostos graduate and look forward to attending a senior college in CUNY in the Fall 21 semester,” she shared.
